II. The Heirloom Reconstruction

We are the premier studio for vintage gown modernization on Vancouver Island. This is a collaborative design process where we deconstruct a vintage garment and rebuild it into a modern masterpiece. Due to the complexity of these projects, we require a Design Blueprint phase before labor begins.

The Service Tiers:

  • Tier 1: The Modernization: Removing dated elements (sleeves, pads) and refining the vintage silhouette for a 2026 aesthetic.
  • Tier 2: The Metamorphosis: A complete structural overhaul—changing necklines, merging fabrics, or significant resizing.
  • Tier 3: The Second Look: Transforming a full-length heirloom into a modern "Little White Dress" for your rehearsal or reception.

The Design Blueprint (Required): $150 Includes: Textile integrity test, design sketches, and a 60-minute structural fitting.

    Space in the Atelier is limited to ensure dedicated attention to every gown. We recommend reaching out 4–6 months before your wedding date.

  • 2. The Consultation & Fitting

    All appointments are held at our studio on Saturdays and Sundays. Please bring your wedding shoes and exact undergarments to ensure a precise measurement.

  • 3. The Reveal

    Your journey concludes with a final reveal and "stress test" to ensure you can move, dance, and breathe with ease. Your gown is then professionally pressed and prepped for your big day.
